Somos Huaraches

This last week was our wards celebration for Mexican Independence Day. We dressed up as Huaraches and danced a Mexican Folklore dance. It was really funny because it was a gringo remix and all the members thought it was the funniest thing ever.

We also went to some Mayan/Lamanite ruins which were really cool and really pretty. It was so big and the mosquitos were really really bad. Nevertheless, It was super pretty.

We got to have Bianca´s confirmation in sacrament meeting and it was super, super cool. We have our stake conference on Saturday and Sunday so we might have to move her mom's baptism back. (Adriana)
What a fun week this week.
We didn't have transfers yesterday so I'll be here in Cunduacan until November. Living the life!! :)

happy days

I HAD THE BEST WEEK EVER!!
FIRST, I got to go to the temple with SANDY. It was so fun. We went and did baptisms and I got to see her baptized over and over and over. It made me so happy because I remember how awesome it was the first time. We woke up at 4 in the morning to get over there. She's so cute and I'm so proud of her. She said she wants to get married in the temple and I cried :)) I got to confirm her a few times after too. I also got to see some of the changes in the temple and I just remembered how much I love the temple. I just love it.

Bianca got baptized! She's 14 and she's the first in her family to be baptized!! She has so much faith and she was so happy after!! We are planning on baptizing her mom and brother too and eventually her whole street who are her family members hahha. So many of them came to church!!!

Monica and Alan ARE GETTING MARRIED!! We went and taught them about the power of temples and being sealed in the temple and after 1 YEAR they're finally getting married tomorrow!!! After Alan gets back from work next month, they're getting baptized on the 19th. SO happy :) They are awesome!
I threw up because I had bad milk it kinda sucked made my stomach hurt really really bad. I lived.
It's Mexican Independence day sooo... VIVA MEXICO lotta drunks we had to be in our houses really early last night.

LOVE Y'ALL EMAIL ME!!! Just cause I'm a year out doesn't mean my email is broken :)

52 Weeks YUH

I LOVE THE RAIN!!
NOT
It's super annoying and makes everything feel like a sauna! :) The drainage systems are wretched and the rain makes everything smell bad. I love it here though.

Can't believe that was my 52nd week in the mission and only a few more to go! The time has gone by so fast it makes me kinda sad.
Mexican Independence Day, ya viene muchas chelas.

'Merica food this week some habanero hot dogs and a solid burger not gonna lie. We had a ton of fun this week and are working hard. Love y´all :)

I'm sore

WE WALK SO MUCH. (favorite past time talking to Jehovah witnesses) :)

Yesterday, Sunday somebody who I have never seen before came to church a little late and sat in the back. We went up to him right after the meeting and I asked him how he liked the meeting and he said he loved it and that he has a friend in Monterrey which is like by Texas (across the country) and he told him to come to church. AND HE CAME. The second hour of church we taught him the restoration gave him a Book of Mormon and told him to read, ponder, and pray about it and he will feel that these things are true. He said next week he will bring his family and we hope we can visit him this week. The Lord knows his children, on my mission I've just come to understand a little bit of how intricate and perfect He knows us.
Super cool week. The week before last we found so many people and this last week we made it a goal to invite every single on to baptism. If they accepted, we would continue to go back if they didn't we would stop visiting them. We visited 12 families/people and 11 of them accepted to be baptized. I was so shocked, house after house, it didn't feel real. Although, it's important to remember that here in Mexico people say no by saying yes or they say yes and then just don't do anything so we will see!!! I feel like I have had some really spiritual lessons this past week.
Heres a pic of my son Elder Farnwoth with his first fish head he didn't know how to start <3
